Daniel López from the the Astrophysics Institute of Canarias has created this new timelapse video showing the twilight and night skies of the island of La Palma in Spain. Static and moving cameras are used, with plenty of visual rhythm provided by the movement of stars within the frame due to the rotation of the Earth, as well as the accelerated movement of clouds.
The pulsating rhythm of the clouds, which at times behave as liquids, and the wonderful color palettes with complementary colors achieved at dusk are a feast for the eyes.
