This short was produced by British artist Ed Barrett as his MA graduation project at the Royal College of Art. It took around 5 months to create and was made with After Effects.
Staged in the heights of an urban environment the short relies heavily on the use of off-screen space. It is used to define the upper and lower spaces and as an effective device for humor. Sound is also an essential element of the short, used to transmit the saturation produced by the urban life and to augment the effects of off screen space.
The stylized aesthetic uses many elements from video games and mixes a few 3D elements with the 2D animation.
