DJI has updated its Phantom 2 remote controlled quadcopter with improved 3-axis gimbal stabilization (previously it had a single-axis one), extended WiFi communication distance (700 meters), faster maximum flight speed (to 15 meters/sec or 50 feet/sec), 90-degree tilt that allows to film subjects directly below, and a GPS-based navigation with programmable features.
