Susi

Susi is a short film written and directed by Spanish artist Iván Lobón that presents a great example of visual rhythm synced to music. Inspired by Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, concerto No.4, Winter (3rd movement), the short uses a number of camera pans and motion of elements within the frame to produce a playful choreography in combination with the music. A stylized, winter-based aesthetic is employed and no conflicts are present in the story.

Susi took a year to create and was produced with 3DS Max, Combustion, Adobe Premiere and Flash. The joyful attitude of the girl character, the umbrella used as means of transportation and the supernatural wind element help create a wonderful short.
