In order to create a homogeneous atmosphere of automated, superficial behavior BLR has used repetition in movement, images, sound and music, along with de-contextualized, instantly gratifying content inspired by viral internet culture. All structured in a cyclic format that describes a continuous loop of purchase and obsolescence.

The result is such an excellent depiction of current social trends and the illnesses provoked by addiction to technology that the short has quickly spread around the web, causing passionate reactions. It should be noted that BLR’s intention was to create a humorous portrait of the situation and laugh at themselves and their own use of technology, rather than point an accusative finger.
