"A look at the world of childhood."
Motion Graphics animator Tom Yaniv has created a short film that uses a highly subjective point of view of narration and a stream of consciousness mode to depict children’s imagination and how a little girl sees the world while playing on a park swing.
Some of the elements used in the short include a mix of 2D and 3D animation, no cuts in editing, a diverse iconography associated with children’s themes, symmetry in composition (in some sequences) and a shift in aesthetic to signal the transition from one world to another (a change in color palette and also in iconography).
